I love splats on a layout. Duplicate, rub out parts & redirect to create great trails. Try reducing the transparency of the painted splats so that the object beneath shows through & use a single splat beneath a screw (soften edges with eraser) for a realistic look.

I'm off to watch Twilight. Ikea Goddess was raving about it & when I asked my kids what it was they said,' Have you been living under a rock mum?' Such respect!! Hubby has even agreed to snuggle up on the lounge with me (not sure if that's a good thing for such a chick flick) & we have yummy spaghetti my mum made for tea. That's just the sort of Saturday night I like!

Her hair is Gunhild ivy, her buttons Scappin' Cop flower centres & her beautiful full skirt (trimmed to match her grunge leaf top) a gift from Angelique.

PS Ethics aside, it's just as well we can't choose the features of our kids. It took me over an hour to decide on Lisette's eyes & lashes - all for a freebie doll. Someone (me) needs to get a life so no more designing for a while. Tomorrow I'll do something much more significant - washing!
